I just realized something that has been brimming on the edge of my mind for months, maybe years, and effects the way I view things (what a vague word.)...
I never called my dad "Daddy".
Actually...I did. But he told me not to. Or at least that's how I took it.
"Why do you say that? You sound like a little girl."
